I'm just gonna throw this out there. If the Oscars were given out today, the hands down winner would be the movie trailer for 'Beginnings.'
But seriously, 'Midnight in Paris' was by far the best movies I've seen in a long time. Go see it right now! It's such a great movie for anyone but especially for Art History and Early Modernism nerds like myself. Also, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a movie this much without hearing a single swear word. I think even Wall-E dropped a few F-bombs.
But the award for 'Most Annoying Laugh and Use of the Awwwww Sound Like in a 90s Sitcom Right Before a Romantic Scene in a Motion Picture' goes to: The Woman Behind Me! Also, I don't wanna sound ageist, fattist, or racist, but that woman turned out to be way too old, skinny, and white to produce that kind of noise in a movie theater or anywhere for that matter.
Next weekend I'm seeing 'Super 8' with my dad. I'm gonna watch the first seven 'Super' movies this week so I'll be all caught up.
