I just found a notebook I used to keep for all my great ideas that never quite got off the ground. Here are a few excerpts:

January 21, 2007

• New diet idea: eating less, exercising more, and then everyone just shutting up about dieting.

April 4, 2007

• Legally Blonde spin-off with male lead.

November 14, 2005

• "Gnomeo and Juliet" crossed out with "Stupid idea" written underneath. (F**k!)

March 10, 2005

• Sell meth to people with narcolepsy. Meth is super cheap.

January 3, 2005

• Collect all the Christmas trees from in front of neighbors' houses. Sell at huge discounts next year.

December 2, 2004

• All-dog production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Find dog that can walk on crutches.

• Write a blog. Make millions.
